Siam centres launch tourism promotion
The three Siam centres in downtown Bangkok have launched their mid-year tourism promotion, which will run until July 31.
Siam Paragon, Siam Center and Siam Discovery are inviting tourist shoppers to enjoy privileges and special offers by registering a Tourist Card. Those who sign up will also receive a complimentary voucher valued at THB200 to use at the My Kitchen dining precinct on the fourth floor of Siam Discovery. My Kitchen offers everyone a new social dining experience with foods from five well-known restaurants – Nara, Kuppadeli, Cafe Chilli, Man Fu Yuan, Yuzu by Yuutaro and a super chic cafe Brix Dessert Bar.
Tourists who spend a minimum of THB5000 receive a limited edition elephant clutch and those who spend THB10,000, receive a travelling bag and Viz titanium member card.
The campaign is part of a broader effort backed by the Thai government to maintain Bangkok’s reputation as a shopping destination. Its timing coincides with the launch of the Great Singapore Sale.
To participate, tourist shoppers must register by presenting their passport at any information counter in the three shopping centres or at the Tourist Lounge on the ground floor of Siam Paragon. They will receive a Tourist Card, giving them discounts of up to 30 per cent on regularly priced merchandise at participating shops, ranging from fashion, beauty and wellness to dining. Tourist Card holders will be also entitled to up to 6 per cent VAT refund, valid until December 31.
