Thai franchisors in Singapore push
More than 30 Thai franchisors will feature in a country pavilion at the upcoming FLAsia Exhibition in Singapore.
It will be the first Thailand Pavilion, and likely the largest of any country at the event, showcasing brands including Black Canyon Coffee (Thailand’s largest specialty coffee and restaurants chain), Clayworks (3D art clay modelling learning centres) and Mango Tree (sister restaurant of Coca Restaurants Worldwide).
FLAsia is a significant channel for introducing foreign business concepts and brands into Asia and a springboard for local companies to expand overseas. Presented by FLA Singapore, and organised by BizLink Exhibition Services, a subsidiary of Singapore Press Holdings, the three-day event will be taking place from October 13 to 15 at Marina Bay Sands, Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Level 1, Exhibition Hall B. Admission is free.
Besides Thailand, international pavilions will feature from Japan, Singapore and Korea, led by their respective government agencies.
FLA expects about 200 brands to be on display at the event, 68 per cent of them from 21 countries or regions, including Australia, Canada, France, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Malta, the Philippines, Taiwan, the UAE, the UK and the US.
